The ocean beaches
The peninsula of Cap Ferret reveals a second facet, that of the Atlantic Ocean. After a short walk in the pine forest and a dune crossing you arrive on the beach; sand as far as the eye can see, the ocean more or less agitated depending on its mood. On each supervised beach you will find a snak to eat or cool off on these beautiful summer days.

The lighthouse of Cap Ferret
258 steps to climb up to the top of the lighthouse (53 metres high), where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the basin and the ocean (Dune du Pilat, Bassin d'Arcachon passes, Banc d'Arguin, oyster farming villages...). The activities
The peninsula is a beautiful place with plenty of activities : Anyone can find a thing to do.
Water activities are always present. Whether in the basin with a fishing trip, sailing courses (Club Nautique de Claouey, Club Nautique du Ferret), scuba diving (Hippo diving), jet skiing or on the ocean side with rental or surf lessons and of course many other water activities.
On land, you can rent bicycles or rosalies to ride. For golfers, The Cap Ferret golf course, located on the Domaine du Four, offers a unique concept with a 9-hole course in the pine forest. Non-practitioners can gather around a glass to play a game of petanque or badminton, all in a unique setting in the heart of the pine forest. Right next to it, you will find a tree-hanging course and climbing walls. The peninsula offers many other playgrounds, it's up to you to discover it!
