What is the pedestrian offer?
The pedestrian offer is simply a €50 credit to be used at the campsite during your stay if you come to the campsite without a car. You’ll be playing your part in this ecological transition. With this voucher, you’ll be able to take advantage of bed linen kits to keep your suitcases as light as possible, bicycles to explore the surrounding area, a snack bar and all the other services on offer at the campsite.
We’re aware of the impact of car journeys on the environment and the saturation of roads during peak traffic periods. We’d also like to take part in the “ Le bassin d’Arcachon sans MA VOITURE” initiative. In order to play an active role in the ecological transition and make life easier for our holidaymakers, we have set up the Pedestrian Offer. Whether you come by train, plane or carpool, the offer works.

The Arcachon basin offers well-developed mobility services. The network of cycle paths is simply magnificent, allowing you to take your time discovering this fabulous area. The network of buses and maritime shuttles is also very well served. To plan your walks or bike rides, don’t hesitate to ask at reception, where we’ll be happy to give you the right addresses.

Camping Pasteur, a genuine family campsite in Arès, promotes sustainable development. Every holidaymaker is welcome to sort their waste. We have three bins for recyclable waste. We’re in a beautiful place that’s important to preserve. Every little gesture helps to keep this environment as beautiful as it is.

We welcome motorhomes and vans, even out of season as part of an on-call service for motorhomes around the Arcachon basin. We have electricity, a sewage disposal area and sanitary facilities.
