What you can do in Arès
Visit Club Nautique d’Arès, 300 m from the campsite, welcomes young and old alike to discover the joys of sailing on a marvellous stretch of water. Numerous events open to all are organized throughout the summer (regattas, Cata+, nautical festivals, concerts…), making it a must-see venue in the village.
Cap Ferret Kite School based at the Club Nautique d’Arès, offers kitesurfing lessons for all on the best spots in the basin. In addition, a kitesurfing area is located in front of the Club Nautique, providing a great show when the wind picks up. The club also offers Paddle Board rental.
Tennis courts, soccer pitch, street soccer and basketball are available. Canoe tours departing from the oyster port are organized to discover the local flora and fauna.
During the summer, the Cap 33 association offers a range of sports and wellness activities, including orienteering, gym classes, bike rides, beach volleyball and tournaments of all kinds. There’s something for everyone.
