Les Près-Salés d’Arès Lège
Close to the campsite, the Près-Salés d’Arès Lège site is a must for nature lovers. This 500-hectare nature reserve, located between Arès and Lège-Cap-Ferret, is home to almost 150 species of birds and one of the richest flora in the region. It’s a veritable paradise for birdwatchers and nature photographers, offering magnificent views over the salt marshes. Discovering the Arcachon basin through this reserve will enable you to appreciate the diversity of the local flora and fauna, while taking advantage of marked trails for total immersion. Activities and guided tours are regularly organized at the Cabane du Résinier to help you discover this unique environment.

For hikers, the St Brice – Quinconces site is an ideal stopover on your exploration of the Arcachon basin. The coastal path offers a breathtaking view of the basin, and takes you over a wooden bridge from the Cirès river at Arès to the oyster port atAndernos-les-Bains. This route takes you through wild landscapes, far from the hustle and bustle, and offers magnificent panoramic views of the estuary and surrounding area. It’s one of the few unspoilt spots on the coast, where nature blends perfectly with the region’s maritime traditions.

La Dune du Pilat
