Wine and gastronomy
All around Bordeaux, you can visit the vineyards of Bordeaux, the Médoc region, the côtes de Blaye and Bourg, on the right bank of the Garonne with the medieval village of St Emilion. Excursions are organized from Bordeaux to taste the best grape varieties.
Gastronomy
Take advantage of your holidays to discover our beautiful oysters from the Arcachon Basin. Come and taste them directly in the oyster shacks, accompanied by clams, shrimps, periwinkles, whelks, whelks, and a small glass of white or rosé wine, by the water, against the backdrop of the Pyla dune or the bird island.
Markets
- Ares: Tuesday morning, place A. Weiss, from 8:00 to 13:00. 500 meters from the campsite.
- Andernos-les-Bains: Friday morning: open-air market on the 14th of July. In July and August, every morning: covered market (in front of the post office). 10 minutes by bike.
- Cap-Ferret: : From mid-June to mid-September every day from 8am to 1pm, the rest of the year on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8am to 1pm and from March on Sundays from 8am to 1pm.
- Arcachon: In July and August, every day from 7:30 am to 1 pm, place des Marquises.
