Beaches of the Arès basin
The beaches of the Bassin d’Arès, just a stone’s throw from our campsite, are perfect for a relaxing day out with family or friends. The calm sea is ideal for swimming and playing in the sand. The Triangle de Pereire d’Arès beach, bordered by pine forests and green spaces, offers a natural, relaxing setting. Perfectly accessible, the beach is just 200 meters from the campsite, allowing you to enjoy this magnificent coastline to the full at any time of day. Whether you’re looking for a refreshing swim or a moment of idleness, the beaches of Arès await you.
On the eastern coast of the Arcachon basin: beaches from Andernos to Audenge
The eastern coast of the Arcachon Basin boasts a number of beaches accessible from Andernos-les-Bains to Audenge, appreciated for their peaceful atmosphere and unspoilt natural setting. Here, the beaches of the basin offer gentle bathing, punctuated by the tides, ideal for families, toe-in-the-water strolls or kayak outings. The beaches of Le Bétey, La Jetée in Andernos, Taussat and Graveyron in Audenge are ideal for taking full advantage of the coastline, with its fine sand, pine forests and small oyster-farming harbours.
In addition to these sheltered beaches, the proximity of the ocean beaches of the Arcachon basin means you can vary the pleasures. South of Arès, you’ll find some of the finest beaches in the Arcachon basin, between Le Teich and the Dune du Pyla.
